Sometimes danger is obvious. Often, it isn’t.

The harder situations are the ones that fall into the gray zone—where nothing looks overtly unsafe, but you’re still being asked to place your child in the hands of strangers. In those moments, what settles a parent’s gut isn’t marketing. It’s structure.

There’s one cliché I refuse to give up: “Don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good.” I still remember a very wise friend saying this to me in high school, and I’ve clung to it ever since.
As a mom, lawyer, and a recovering "good girl," I NEED this cliched expression to get by. You're nonprofit may too.
